Healthcare in the comfort of your home.
No need to sit in traffic, wait in line or risk contamination. Telemedicine brings your care team directly to you.
Virtual Visits and Telemedicine services are changing the way health care is delivered. By allowing every patient to have healthcare at home, physicians are able to safely spend their time having meaningful interactions.
01
What is Telemedicine?
Telemedicine is a mobile-first approach to the delivery of healthcare. Miinedoctor offers Virtual Visits and Telemedicine with each of our doctors. Patients are able to communicate safely, securely, and when it is convenient for them.
All you need is a mobile device or tablet which connects to the internet. At home care guarantees less exposure to illness while you are improving your health. Schedule time to video chat with your doctor, at your convenience.
02
Why should I use Telemedicine?
Telemedicine service isn’t meant to replace the relationship you have with your primary care doctor. So be sure to continue seeing your doctor for check-ups and other services. But sometimes, you need care right away for non-emergencies.
-
Connect with a practice doctor in minutes using our app: justmiine
-
Skip the long waits and lines you’d experience going to the ER or urgent care center.
-
Bypass the hefty medical bills you’d get going to the ER for non-emergencies.
-
Telemedicine is appropriate for many primary care and follow-up visits.
-
Get specialty care quickly while in the comfort of your home.

When should I use Telemedicine?
Telemedicine is a great alternative for people of all ages. Whether you're short on time, having an issue while you're out or just need to talk to a doctor, we're here.
No transportation time or costs
When you see your doctor on your mobile device, you can save money on gas and public transportation.
No need to take time off of work
You can schedule your appointment during a break, or before or after work. You can do the visit from anywhere that you feel offers you enough privacy. There’s no need to waste your precious paid time off.
Eliminate child or elder care issues
If you have the responsibility for caring for children or older adults, finding someone to fill in can be a challenge, as can bringing them along. Telemedicine lets you see your doctor while managing your family responsibilities.
Less exposure to illness
While we take great care to keep patients from passing illness to each other, the fact is that doctor’s offices are full of sick people. With a video visit, there’s no chance that you’ll catch something from another patient.
Improved health outcomes
When you are able to see us as often as you need to you put yourself on the path to better health.
04
Is it safe?
According to a recent survey by Medscape, the number one concern of patients is whether the diagnosis will be accurate. We understand this concern because we know that not every medical situation is right for a video visit. But for situations that do qualify, Telemedicine is a safe and effective alternative to in-office visits. Our doctors and nurses are experts in conducting virtual medical consultations.
05
Is it secure?
Patients are right to be concerned about the privacy and security of their confidential medical information. While today’s digital world offers a lot of convenience, there are risks.
We designed our app, justmiine, specifically because of this concern. Our interactive telecommunication system is designed to protect all patient information. We meet the strict standards of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, also known as HIPAA.
06
Is Telemedicine covered by my insurance?
Illinois is one of the twenty-nine states that require private payers to cover video visits on par with how they cover in-office ones. Our office will gladly verify eligibility for telemedicine before any visit. Call us at (708) 972-7642 and if the visit is approved, any Virtual Visit will cost the same as an in-person visit would, based on your coverage.
07
Is Telemedicine covered by Medicare?
Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) covers certain telehealth services.
You pay 20% of the Medicare-approved amount for your doctor or other health care provider’s services, and the Part B deductible applies. For most telehealth services, you'll pay the same amount that you would if you got the services in person.
Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Public Health Emergency, doctors and other health care providers are using Telemedicine services to treat COVID-19 (and for other medically reasonable purposes) from offices, hospitals, and places of residence (like homes, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities) as of March 6, 2020.
