  • Is it safe to come to Miinedoctor for an appointment?
    Yes, Miinedoctor has implemented practices to ensure that all patients, visitors, and healthcare staff remain safe and healthy. All healthcare workers, non-clinical support staff and all other Miinedoctor employees, patients and visitors are required to wear a face mask at all times All healthcare workers, non-clinical support staff and all other Miinedoctor employees, patients and visitors are to practice social distancing by maintaining a distance of at least 6 feet from each other. Waiting rooms have been rearranged so that chairs are 6 feet apart. When possible, patients are asked to wait in their cars until they are called on their cellphone for their appointment. All clinical care areas are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every patient encounter.
  • How else can I see my doctor without coming into the office?
    Miinedoctor offers telemedicine or virtual visits to all our patients, for all our providers. You simply need to download our app, justmiine, and schedule your appointment. Virtual Visits are safe, secure, and confidential, but most importantly allows you to minimize any gaps in your care.
  • What should I do if I think I have COVID-19?
    If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 — which include fever, chills, loss of taste or smell, muscle and body aches, headache, fatigue, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, cough and sore throat — stay at home, self-isolate and rest. You can contact our office at 708-972-7642 or schedule a virtual visit to speak to one of our healthcare professionals on guidance for symptom management and options for testing.
  • If I already have symptoms of COVID-19 but they are getting worse, what should I do?"
    If you are experiencing shortness of breath or trouble breathing, persistent pain or pressure in your chest, new confusion, inability to wake or stay awake or bluish discoloration of the lips or face, seek emergency medical care immediately.
  • How can I get tested for COVID-19?
    Miinedoctor is offering to all existing patients an innovative and convenient home base saliva COVID-19 test. Please, register for the test here. You can also visit the Illinois Department of Public Health website to see additional testing centers.
